The Challenge
In Malawi, access to nutritious food remains one of the most pressing issues.
- • For many households, meat is a rare luxury.
- • Muslims Connected is working to ensure that Eid is not missed by families in these vulnerable communities.
- • With no formal income, rising food prices, and limited access to aid, Eid al-Adha can pass without celebration or shared meals.
• We aim to reach: – Low-income households – Families listed in ZamZam Foundation’s welfare database – Communities in under-resourced and rural areas

Reaching Malawi’s Most Vulnerable with the Care They Deserve
For our 2025 Qurbani campaign Muslims Connected strives to:
• Source goats from reliable local farms in Malawi
• Ensure all slaughtering is carried out by certified Muslim slaughterers
• Perform Qurbani in strict accordance with Islamic guidelines
• Video record each Qurbani for accountability and donor peace of mind
• Distribute fresh meat to 150 families identified by our implementation partner
All processes are handled by trained teams on the ground who understand the
importance of both the religious obligation and the responsibility of delivering it with care
and integrity.
Results
Together the Muslims Connected community turns a sacred act into real impact for families in Malawi.
- Each Qurbani is handled with full transparency. Video footage is available to donors upon request.
- One act of sacrifice through Qurbani is a hundred meals of hope.
