Dr. Imtiaz Sooliman was born in Potchefstroom, South Africa. He’s a distinguished medical doctor and philanthropist known for his global humanitarian work. Inspired by guidance from Sufi Sheikh Muhammed Safer Dal Effendi, he founded Gift of the Givers in 1992, dedicated to humanitarian aid and disaster relief. Dr. Sooliman’s initiatives range from facilitating hostage rescues in Yemen to aiding citizens in post-war Iraq and assisting Syrian refugees. His efforts have earned him numerous awards, including the President’s Order of the Star of South Africa and recognition as one of the world’s most influential Muslims.
